02  Development Selected applicants will go though 7-weeks of Professional Model Training under the guidance of mentors from the fashion & modelling industry. 03 International

Once you are ready, we will place you with one of our partner agencies around the world to gain international experience. You will get to work with international fashion brands.

Talk to your bookers to gain feedback on how to improve chances of getting a job. Together, we will craft a career path based on your interest and strong points.

When is the next open casting call?

It will be on 3rd May 2025

Do you work with freelance models?

All our models are on exclusive contracts. This means that they are not allowed to take up jobs outside of the agency.

I do not have experience at all. Can I join?

Yes, training will be provided if you are selected at the Open Casting Call.

Do I have to pay any application fee?

Nope, there is no fee to apply.

Can I come into the agency for an interview instead of going to the open casting calls?

Nope, we do not accept walk-ins at the agency. All model applicants have to go through the open casting calls.

Important Notice For Aspiring Models

What it takes

A career in modelling can offer fantastic opportunities to travel the world, meet diverse & interesting people and generate a good income. But before starting out, it’s important to be aware that today modelling is a highly competitive industry where, however good your look, success can only be achieved with certain vital ingredients: dedication, a professional approach, a good agent and a bit of luck. Models must work hard to look their best – a healthy diet, regular exercise and general TLC are all essential. What you wear is also important. But looking great is only half the job. Being professional is a must. This means turning up on time, having a positive attitude and generally getting along with everyone at the casting or on the shoot. If you can do all this, your chances of a good career will increase enormously. Remember that competition for work is fierce and standards today are higher than ever. If all this seems daunting, don’t forget that the agency is here to give advice and guidance on all aspects of our models’ careers, including healthy eating, personal care, health & safety & managing your finances.

Working Together

If you are under the age of 18, parental consent is required before we offer you a modelling contract. It is important that school studies are not affected in the course of your modelling career. It is vital to have clear communication between parents and the agency to keep a good balance between school and work.

Beware of Scams

Beware of people posing as agents or models online. In the past, unscrupulous people have set up profiles on Facebook and other social networks posing as our agents or models. If anyone claims to be from Basic but does not give you an email address in the form of: [email protected] then they are NOT from Basic.
