We prepare a portion of pasta, keeping in mind that its volume doubles during cooking. COOKING:
We add the ravioli pasta to boiling salted water (1 liter of water for every 100g of pasta, 1 teaspoon of salt per 2 liters of water). We stir immediately to prevent the pasta from sticking to the pot. Depending on the manufacturer, cooking time for ravioli ranges between 12 and 15 minutes. You can check the exact cooking time on the package. We start timing from the moment the water returns to a boil. We stir every 3–4 minutes. We do not cover the pot. We taste to check if the pasta is al dente – it should be tender yet firm. AFTER COOKING:
Once the pasta is cooked, we quickly drain it in a colander. SERVING SUGGESTION:
We serve it with your favorite sauce and drizzle olive oil to taste. Ravioli go well with creamy, light sauces without large pieces of meat or vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
