When it comes to life problems, dried-out Sharpies aren’t, like, major. But they are annoying. (How else are you supposed to label that big box of old maternity clothes?) Here, how to bring them back to life.

What you need: Rubbing alcohol and a small container (the bottle cap also works)

What you do: Pour a small amount of the rubbing alcohol into the container and dip the tip of the Sharpie in it for 15 seconds or until you see color start to swirl in the liquid. Next, put the cap back on and let the Sharpie sit upright in your pen jar for one to two hours. Boom. Your marker is revived and ready to use.
