XM Radio is a special radio service with an online component that you can listen to at home on your computer, and an optional satellite radio service for use in the car. If you have a subscription for the XM Radio Online service, you can manually cancel your account at any time from your "My Account" page on the company's website. However, if you have a XM Satellite Radio service, the only way to cancel your subscription is via a customer service representative.

Step 1

Go to the office XM Radio website (see Resources). Click on the “Your Account” option at the top of the page.

Step 2

Enter your username and password, and then click on the “Login” button. You’ll then be brought to the My Account page.

Step 3

Click on the “Manage Your Account” option from the top of the page. Click on the “Change Billing Info” option.

Step 4

Click on the “Cancel Service” option, and your online XM Radio Online account will be canceled.

Step 5

Call XM Listener Care at 1-800-XM-RADIO if you want to cancel your XM Satellite Radio subscription; to do so, you must speak directly to a customer-service representative.
