Steps to Catch Flying Pokemon
| Steps to Catch Flying Pokemon | |
|---|---|
| 1 | It may take a few tries to capture the Pokemon, so be sure to gather lots of Apricons and Sky Tumblestones to create about 20 Feather Balls before proceeding! |
| 2 | First head to the area where these Pokemon can be found and clear the space of any other Wild Pokemon or stealth your way through to avoid them. |
| 3 | To catch the flying Pokemon wait for it to fly towards your direction and throw a Feather Ball. This ball can go higher and further than a regular Poke Ball so you may have to adjust your throw a little. |
| 4 | The Pokemon may escape multiple times out of the Feather Ball, roar, and then continue to fly. To prevent this, you can immediately hold the ZR button and aim on where it is as soon as it enters the Feather Ball you just threw. |
| 5 | Release ZR immediately to throw another Feather Ball while it cries out. Repeat this process until you have caught the flying Pokemon! |
| 6 | If you wish to catch another one, simply wait in the area for a few moments until another one spawns in the same space. |
Battling Flying Pokemon Not Possible
Even if you throw a Poke Ball containing a Pokemon to a Flying Pokemon, a Pokemon battle will not commence.
That said, Flying Pokemon cannot be captured after being weakened in battle.
