Do you need to change the date on your Android phone? By default, your Android device will set the correct time automatically. If you want to, you can also manually set the time and date. This wikiHow article teaches you how to set the date and time on a Samsung Galaxy and a stock Android phone or tablet.

"Automatic time zone" is enabled by default, which allows your phone to select a time zone by cellular antennas or your locations. Turning this off allows you to select a time zone manually.
    • Leaving "Automatic time zone" enabled ensures that your phone has the correct time zone. You can also tap "Set time zone based on location" to allow your phone to set your time zone based on your GPS location.
