This wikiHow teaches you how to select a different face for your Apple Watch. You can use both your Apple Watch and a paired iPhone to do this.

Method 1 Method 1 of 2:

On Apple Watch

1. 1 Make sure the Watch face is displaying. If your Apple Watch's clock isn't currently open, press the Digital Crown once to close any open app if necessary, then press it again to open the clock interface.
2. 2 Force-press the screen. Pressing down hard on the Apple Watch's screen while the clock face is displaying will cause the current Watch face to zoom out. Advertisement
3. 3 Scroll through the available Watch faces. Scroll left or right to see commonly used Apple Watch backgrounds.
4. 4 Select a Watch face. Once you've found a Watch face you want to use, tap the face to select and apply it.
   • If you don't see the Watch face you want to use, skip to the next step.
5. 5 Add a new Watch face if necessary. If you want to use a Watch face other than one of the ones listed in the menu, do the following:
   • Scroll all the way to the right.
   • Tap NEW.
   • Scroll up or down until you find the Watch face you want to use.
   • Tap the Watch face to select it.

On iPhone

1. 1 Open your iPhone's Watch app. Tap the Watch app icon, which resembles a white side profile of an Apple Watch on a black background.
2. 2 Tap My Watch. It's in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
3. 3 Find a Watch face to use. Scroll left or right through the faces listed in the "MY FACES" section near the middle of the screen.
4. 4 Select a face. Tap the face you want to use. Doing so will open the face's menu.
5. 5 Scroll down and tap Set as current Watch Face. This option is near the bottom of the page. Doing so will apply the face to your Apple Watch.
   • You may need to lower your wrist and then raise it to turn off and back on the Apple Watch's screen before you can see the changes reflected on your Apple Watch.
