This wikiHow article shows you how to change your Etsy shop name. Etsy is a popular e-commerce website where people can sell their handmade items and other crafts. If you have an Etsy shop and you need to change its name for any reason, there’s a simple method for getting it done.

Steps

  1. Step 1 Go to the... 1 Go to the Etsy website and sign in. There will be a white Sign in button in the top right corner of the window. Click on that and then use your email address and password to sign in to your account. Visit the Etsy website here: https://www.etsy.com/

  3. Step 3 Click on Settings. 3 Click on Settings. You will now be in your shop’s dashboard, which shows all of the stats and information related to your shop. There will be a menu down the left side of the page, where you can find Settings next to the gear icon.
  4. Step 4 Click Info & Appearance. 4 Click Info & Appearance. A new menu will pop up, and Info & Appearance will be right at the top of the list. Click on this to continue.
  5. Step 5 Click Change to the right of your shop name. 5 Click Change to the right of your shop name. The Info & Appearance page allows you to customize what visitors see when they brose your shop. At the very top of the page, you will see Shop Name, with an orange Change option to the right of it. Click on this option.

You will see some information related to what happens when you change your shop name, followed by the option to change it. Type in your new shop name in the text box to the right of New Shop Name. Once you are finished, click the orange Save button at the bottom of the page. Your shop name will now be changed.
    • Please note that any further name changes must be approved by Etsy support. The process is the same as detailed above, but there will likely be a delay in approval from Etsy.
    • Capitalization changes don’t count as a name change. If you keep your shop name the exact same, only you decide to capitalize one or some of the letters, that’s completely fine and you can do that as many times as you like.
