One of the things you can do in Valorant to increase your chances of climbing up the rating ladder is to change the default setting of your scope to ensure you have crosshairs that suit your playstyle. Check out our How to Change your Scope in Valorant guide to find out how this is done.

Adapting your scope in Valorant so that you have eye-comfortable crosshairs can play a critical role as having a scope that has taken into account personal preferences will give you confidence when shooting. It will also make the process of learning the game in muscle memory in regards to moving the mouse on your mouse mat easier as you will be comfortable with the configuration.

To change the default scope in Valorant to one of your choosing you must go to the main menu and look for the large white 'Play Now' icon that is located at the top right corner of the screen. When you place your mouse over it three tabs will appear below. Select the 'Settings' tab to bring up five tabs at the top of the screen. If you then select the 'Crosshairs' tab in the center you will open a settings screen filled with plenty of different options for customising your scope. These include colour, size, thickness, and opacity.The image which is above the settings sliders indicates the current configuration of the crosshairs and will change in appearance depending on the parameters you pick.
