  2. Undo the laces and soak them in a bowl of soapy water for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Mix 1 teaspoon of dish detergent and warm water to make a soapy solution.
  4. Apply the homemade solution in a circular motion with a soft-bristle brush.
  5. Set the shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours.
