You wash your hair and your body every single day, but how often do you clean your nails? Sure, you'll use remover to take the polish off, but you should be doing a little bit more than that. After all, you don't want your nails to look disgusting on the days you don't have time to paint them. To make sure they always look their best, here are a few tips for cleaning underneath them:

1. Use the Tip of a Nail Pick

This is the easiest way to clean under your nails. All you have to do is buy a nail pick, which is usually included with your nail clippers. Once your hands are dry, you can use the tip of that pick to dig beneath your nail. Rub a tissue against the pick to remove whatever gunk comes out, and then move on to your next nail.

2. Soak Them in Water

If you want to clean your entire nail, instead of beneath it, you can soak your hands in water. Just make sure that the water isn't cold, because warm water will do a better job of getting you all cleaned up. Don't forget to add soap to that water!

If you don't have a nail brush, then you should think about buying one. You can use it while you're soaking your hands in soapy water. In between dips, you can take your hand out and scrub at your nails, making sure to get the top and what's underneath it. It'll do a thorough job.
