How To Clean Your Car Headlights With Toothpaste
Maybe your like
Are you having a hard time seeing the road while driving at night? Although there’s a possibility your bulbs may need to be replaced, there’s also a chance your headlights just need to be cleaned! And we have some good news for you: Your headlights could become noticeably cleaner after scrubbing them with a common household item–toothpaste!
All you need is a tube of toothpaste, a few old towels, and some water for rinsing. Let’s get started!
- First, squeeze out a bit of toothpaste onto one of the towels.
- Then, scrub the toothpaste onto the headlight. Once you’ve covered the surface, you might notice the towel is pretty dirty. That’s a good thing! That means the dirt and grime that’s on the towel is no longer on your car’s headlight.
- Next, rinse the toothpaste off using the water and use a clean towel to wipe off any remaining dirt.
Step back and take a look. Does your headlight look cleaner? If so, good! Your work is done. However, if you still notice your headlights aren’t lighting up the road as they once did, give us a call at Toyota Vacaville. We can inspect your vehicle to make sure your headlight bulbs and other important components are working properly. Our automotive technicians can also replace your headlight bulbs if the need arises. Take a look at our current service specials and schedule a service appointment today!
