This wikiHow article will walk you through clearing your Reddit history on your computer and using the Reddit mobile app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad.
How to Delete Reddit History
To clear your Reddit browsing history, just delete your web browser's history, or go to Settings > Clear Local History in the Reddit mobile app. You can also use a free tool called Redact to delete all of your Reddit posts and comments at once.

1 Install Redact. Reddit doesn't have a bulk delete option that lets you delete all of your posts and/or comments at once. If you want to delete your entire post and comment history from Reddit, you'll need a third-party tool called Redact. You can get Redact for Windows, macOS, and Linux from https://redact.dev/. Click the Install button to download the installer, then double-click the installer to run the tool.
2 Open Redact and link your Reddit account. The first time you launch the tool, you'll have to agree to its terms. Then, you can start linking your Reddit account:
Scroll down and click the Reddit tile.
Click Log in.
Enter your Reddit login credentials and click LOGIN.

3 Select All time under "Date Range." Alternatively, you can choose to only delete posts and comments between specific dates.
4 Choose Posts or Comments. Because your posts and comments are stored a little differently, you'll need to delete each history separately. Once you finish deleting your posts, you can repeat the process to delete your comments (or vice-versa).
5 Choose an action to take. In the "Action to take" section, you'll see two options: Edit comments (or Edit posts) and Delete Comments (or Delete posts).
Edit comments/posts replaces your original posts with "Removed with Redact" instead of deleting them completely. This prevents people from being able to view your deleted posts or comments through third-party services after deletion.[1]XResearch source
Delete comments/posts completely deletes the content of your posts/comments. However, crafty people might still be able to see your old posts using third-party archival tools.
6 Scroll down and click Start previewing. This displays a preview of the content you'll be deleting before actually deleting it. Once the preview is complete, you'll see how many posts or comments will be deleted and the estimated time to delete them all.
When the preview is finished, click Preview done to return to the form.
7 Click Deletion Mode. It's next to "Preview Mode" near the bottom of the form.
8 Click Start Deleting. This deletes all of your posts or comments from Reddit.
When the deletion is complete, return to the form and select Comments (if you started by deleting your posts) or Posts (if you began by deleting your comments).

1 Open the Reddit app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. If you're using Reddit on a phone or tablet, you can easily clear the log of posts and upvoted/downvoted items you've viewed on that device.
If you're using a computer, you can just clear your web browser's history to delete your Reddit browsing history.

1 Log in to your Reddit account. You can easily delete your recent searches in both the Reddit mobile app and at Reddit.com on your computer.
2 Click or tap the "Search" box. It's at the top of Reddit. You'll see a list of your recent searches.
3 Click or tap the X on each search item. Repeat until all items are removed from your search history.
This will only delete your Reddit search history for the device you're using at the moment. To delete your search history everywhere, repeat these steps everywhere you sign in to Reddit.

1 Delete your posts and comments manually (optional). Reddit doesn't have a mass-delete option that lets you delete all of your posts and/or comments at once. But if you don't have a lot of content to delete, it'll be pretty easy to delete it all by hand. Here's how:
Click or tap your profile photo at the top-right corner of Reddit.

Click or tap POSTS or COMMENTS at the top to display all of your posts or comments.[7]XResearch source
If you're using a phone or tablet, tap the post or comment you want to delete. If you're on a computer, just stay on the list of posts or comments.
