How to cancel a Cricket wireless account

Cricket recommends that you call 1-800-274-2538 to close an account. Cricket is a month-to-month carrier, and when payments stop coming in service will automatically be disrupted. If you're able to turn that off, that will effectively terminate the account.

What if I don't have the required information?

If you don’t have the account four digit pin, you can request a one time pin reset to the device itself. You can request that by using the following methods:

Atticus' Legacy Review of Cricket's closing account process after someone dies = 5/10

Cricket gets okay marks for Atticus' Legacy Review of their closing account process after someone dies, as their process is mostly hassle free. They don't however post their policy anywhere accessible on the web, and it seems that their process is mostly aided by the fact that they are a month-to-month carrier. With so many of their clients being seniors, we expected more from Cricket wireless. Hopefully, after receiving this less than perfect mark they'll write one for their clients.
