There are many reports, and I discovered it myself, that you can’t connect your Xiaomi Scooter (Xiaomi Scooter Pro or M365) with Mi Home App (Xiaomi Home). There are lot’s of suggestions online like turn on/off Bluetooth. Or reinstall the app.

If it doesn’t work with your first try, switch to another region and then back to China! Don’t forget to press “save” each time.

It worked for me with both Scooters – my M365, which is a EU Version. And my Xiaomi Scooter Pro, which is a CN Version. With both of them it was/is not possible to use the app with the right region I’m in. I tried with both Android and iOS and couldn’t make it work. After I switched to China I was able to connect without any problems.

    1. Xiaomi Scooter Pro 2 is not officially available yet. There is no Info on the Xiaomji Site and it is not available within the app to select. I guess it will take some days until it is available (and officially released).

You my Friend are a king among Men!!!!!!!.THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!.Bought the Xiaomi 1S for my son, if only you could have seen his face when i gave it to him!, he was absolutely elated..After i assembled it, it then came time to pair it with the phone bluetooth. There was almost tears from both of us when we tried to no avail to do so, we had almost given up when i decided to google the issue and Thank God i found you!!!.Just that region change to Chinese mainland (as we are in London UK) solved the problem and saved the day!!.You’ve made a wonderful young man extremely happy!.

  5. I wasted 15 minutes since the phone and app could see the scooter even though the icon wasn’t lit up on the scooter. I have a M365 1s and although the phone and Mihome app could see the scooter it wasn’t until I turned on the bluetooth within the scooter was it able to really connect. Some sort of combination of the scooter button, throttle, brake lever turned the bluetooth icon on the dashboard. The Mihome app forced an update or I couldn’t get to the ride stats. Bottom line is you need to see the BT icon lit on the scooter before the Mihome app will connect.
