How To Create A Game In RUST Console? - Game Voyagers
Maybe your like
Rust is a brutal game where you are always looking behind you for imminent danger, even the alliances you make while roaming the land are prone to stabbing you in the back. And with a huge player count things are bound to get chaotic. In the realm of PC, you can create private servers to invite like-minded players or friends and create a fun experience.
Private servers allow for custom rules and parameters to be tweaked and produce amazing gameplay opportunities. The private server is yet unavailable in the console edition of Rust and is stated in the menus that it will be coming soon, so you have to wait for the feature to arrive on your platform of choice.
Private Server in Rust Console Edition
As stated above the ability to host a private server is currently not available on the console but it says coming soon. This feature was planned to be released at launch in line with the PC version but got delayed with no further mention by the developers.

The developers Double Eleven said this in a post, “For the community servers our aim was to have them ready on release but we want to make sure players get a fair deal as well as the best possible quality for the service, for this reason, we are still considering all of our available options and we should have more information to share about it in the following weeks/months.”
You might not be aware of this but the servers on the PC are paid and cost around $10 to $25 per month on average, with some even reaching upwards of $50 to $200, it all depends on the type of game you want to host. The servers are provided by the independent server hosting entities and this might be why the console version is taking longer to roll out custom server features as the same independent model is not applicable on consoles. The developers are likely to flesh out the infrastructure and an appropriate pricing strategy for this feature.

When you go to the “Create a Game” option in the menu you are treated with a coming soon page which includes some details of the upcoming addition. There are two types of hosting mentioned Standard and Performance and once purchased you will be given 30 days of usage with both of them having the same player count. Both these options are similar with some key differences like:
- The map size will be bigger in Performance.
- The performance will give full control to choose what monuments will be present in the game like Dome or Launch Site, while Standard will have a lesser variety.
- The Starter Packs are fully customizable in Performance and just 6 options will be available in Standard.
- The Gathering Multiplier in Performance will allow the players to get more number of items when picking up any material in the game. Standard doesn’t have this option.
This hosting is delayed indefinitely by the developers so for now, you will have to make do with the available game modes. The feature is much anticipated as it is the best way to experience Rust and play with friends, so we are sure that it will be released soon. How soon is where we can only speculate. Have patience my fellow raiders you will get your servers!
