YouTube playlists are a useful tool to organize videos, and it's easy to create, modify, and delete them on various platforms, including Android, iOS and the web. Since a YouTube playlist is a curated list of videos, it's quite common for users to create them according to a specific topic or category. For example, a 'Workouts' playlist could be a collection of exercise videos, while a 'Food' playlist could include the user's favorite recipes.

YouTube playlists work exactly as one might expect, playing videos one after another, similar to how they work on Spotify or Apple Music. YouTube playlists can be made private, unlisted, or public. An unlisted playlist can be shared with other users, while a public playlist is searchable on YouTube. Users can also invite other people to collaborate and add videos to their playlists.

To create a YouTube playlist on the website, find a video that needs to be added to the playlist, and click on the Save button below it. Select a preset playlist such as 'Watch Later' or choose a previously created playlist. Alternatively, click on Create a new playlist, and enter a name. Select the privacy setting and click on Create. To edit a playlist, select it from the left sidebar, and click on Edit next to the field that needs to be modified. To delete a playlist, select it from the sidebar and click on the three-dot Menu button. Select Delete playlist, and confirm the action by clicking on Delete again.

The process of creating a YouTube playlist on the app is quite simple, and the steps are the same on both Android and iPhone. Here's how to do it:

• Open the YouTube app and tap on the Library tab at the bottom.
• Click on New Playlist in the Playlists section.
• Select videos from watch history and add them to the playlist.
• Tap on Next, add a title and modify privacy settings.
• Tap on Create.

Delete YouTube Playlists On Android & iPhone

Once a playlist is created, users can add new videos to it by opening a video that needs to be added to the playlist and clicking on the Save button below it. To add it to a different playlist, click on the Change button and choose another playlist. Deleting a playlist can also be done from the Library section on Android and iPhone, although the steps are slightly different for both platforms. Google notes that if a playlist was previously shared or made public, it might appear in other users' watch histories even after it's been deleted. Here's how to delete a playlist from the YouTube app:

• Click on the Library tab in the YouTube app.
• Tap the playlist to be deleted under the Playlists section.
• On Android, tap the three-dot More button, tap on Delete playlist, and then Delete again.
• On iPhone, tap the Delete button (trashcan icon) and select Delete again.

Apart from creating and deleting playlists, YouTube also offers a few other useful playlist features. For instance, when clicking on a playlist in the YouTube app, users can tap the download button (downward arrow) to download all the videos for offline viewing. There's even an option to specify the download quality. Users can also organize the videos in a YouTube playlist by tapping the Sort button, which will sort the videos by the date added, date published or popularity.
