To delete a profile on your desktop or laptop, log in to your Hulu account on your preferred browser and follow the instructions below:

  1. Hover over the dropdown menu in the top-right corner and select Manage Profiles.

  2. Select the Edit icon (pencil) next to the profile you wish to delete.

  3. Select Delete Profile.

  4. A new window will appear asking if you’re sure you want to delete it. Click Delete Profile to confirm.

It’s possible that you won’t be able to delete a profile if it’s currently being used on another device. If this occurs, wait until the profile is not in use again before attempting again.

How to Delete a Hulu Profile on Smartphones, Roku, Apple TV, and More

On the majority of the supported devices, such as smartphones, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, and more, you can erase a Hulu profile.

Launch the Hulu app on your iPhone or Android device, then tap Account in the bottom-right corner. To enter the profile menu, tap your account name, then choose Edit. To delete a profile, tap its name, scroll to the bottom, and then tap Delete Profile.

Regarding TV-connected gadgets (including Roku, Smart TVs, Apple TVs, game consoles, set-top boxes, and streaming sticks): Due to the variety of platforms Hulu is available on, the deletion procedure varies slightly depending on your device. However, each platform should adhere to the same fundamental procedures:

  1. Open Hulu on your device.

  2. Select Manage Account > Profiles.

  3. Select the profile you wish to remove and press OK.

  4. Confirm the deletion by pressing OK again.

Deleting a profile not only deletes all settings associated with that profile but also its watch history.

How to Delete All Profiles on Hulu

You can connect to Hulu using just a web browser if you’d like to delete every profile from your account (aside from the main profile). Additionally, the linked watch history and preferences will be deleted.

  1. Hover over the dropdown menu in the top-right corner and select Account.

  2. Scroll down to Privacy and Settings and click California Privacy Rights.

  3. Under Manage Activity, select Profiles and click Clear Selected.

From this option, you can also delete all viewing histories and cloud DVR settings for all profiles (without deleting all profiles).
