Want to permanently get rid of your YouTube channel? You can delete a YouTube channel without deleting your whole Google account. Keep in mind that this will remove all content associated with your YouTube channel, such as videos, comments, playlists, and more. If you don't want to delete it permanently, you can temporarily hide your YouTube channel, which makes all your content private. Here's how to delete a YouTube channel on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android, whether you have a main account or brand account.

Quick Steps to Delete a YouTube Account

  1. Open YouTube Studio.
  2. Click Settings > Channel > Advanced Settings.
  3. Scroll down and select Remove YouTube Content.
  4. Select I want to permanently delete my content.
  5. Check the first box.
  6. Select Delete my content.

    • Important: Deleting your YouTube channel will delete all your content (videos, comments, messages, playlists, history) permanently. If you don't want to lose your content, consider hiding your channel temporarily.
