Today we are going to show you how to delete drafts on Instagram. If you were going to post a photo to Instagram but then decided not to, you have the option to save it as a draft.

If it’s a good photo and you want to go back and spend more time editing it, that’s a good thing; but if it’s an unnecessary photo that you’re not interested in posting, it will remain in your drafts until you delete it. However, the delete option is a bit hidden.

Open Instagram and go to post a photo. Above all the photos on your phone, you will see a Drafts section. If you want to post that photo, select it; otherwise, if you want to remove it from your drafts, follow these steps:

  • Tap Manage.
  • Then tap Edit.
  • Select the drafts you want to get rid of and tap Discard posts.
  • You will need to confirm your decision.
