This wikiHow teaches you how to delete photos and videos from your Instagram story on an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

1. 1 Open Instagram. It's the purple, orange, and pink camera icon on your home screen.
   • If you have multiple photos or videos in your story, you'll have to delete them all separately. There's no way to delete the entire story at once.
2. 2 Tap Your Story. It's the first story at the top-left corner of the screen. Advertisement

4. 4 Tap Delete.
5. 5 Tap Delete again to confirm. This photo or video is now removed from your story.
   • Repeat this method until no photos or videos remain.
