Team O'Neil Rally School//YouTube

When it comes to pulling off neat car tricks, the Team O'Neil Rally School has you covered. It's put together videos on everything from how to set up a suspension to how to left-foot brake. Now, it's back with another video, this time teaching you how to pull off donuts in your car.

Head instructor Wyatt Knox put together this short video giving you a demonstrator on how to do a donut in a small, tight circle using one of the school's BMW E30 3-Series rally cars. Obviously, this tutorial is for rear-wheel drive cars, but Knox says he has plans to make a separate video for all-wheel drive cars.

The trick to holding a tight donut is, like many other car control maneuvers, left-foot braking. With enough power, sure, you can pull off a donut. But controlling it in such a tight circular fashion can only be done by finessing the brake pedal with your left foot, while your right foot controls the throttle.

It's a pretty simple concept once you see it performed yourself. Check out the entire video below. And just to be clear: You should only be doing donuts in a safe, closed environment, not some parking lot or street intersection where you can get yourself (or others) injured.
