This tutorial will show you how to draw a brick wall. Just follow these easy steps! Follow the red lines for each step. This tutorial uses exact measurements and requires the use of a ruler that measures in inches.
Steps

1 Draw a 6 inch (15.2 cm) by 6 inch (15.2 cm) square.

2 Draw a 12x12 grid (consisting of half an inch per block) inside the square. Advertisement

3 Use a darker pencil to trace all of the horizontal lines.

4 At the first horizontal row that you created, draw a vertical line every 1 inch (2.5 cm) or 2 blocks of the grid. Do this every other row (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc). At the second horizontal row, draw a vertical line at half an inch or the first block of the grid then measure 1 inch (2.5 cm) interval or 2 blocks of the grid then add another vertical line/s until you reach the end. Do this at every other row (2nd, 4th, 6th etc..)

5 Ink the drawing. Don't forget to use your ruler and erase the sketch lines.

6 Color your drawing and your brick wall is done.
