The lotus plant has a distinct flower made of a central pod leading out to large, gorgeous petals. From classic paintings to modern art, lotus flowers are often used to depict beauty, purity, and grace. Thankfully, they’re also very simple to draw if you know the process.
Steps
Download Article
1 Draw an oval with some dots inside it. This will be the seed pod.
2 Draw the first layer of petals surrounding the seed pod. Advertisement
3 Draw the stamens around the seedpod.
4 Draw the second layer of petals.
5 Add some details by drawing 2-3 curved lines on the tip and base of the petals.
6 Draw some sepals at the base of the flower. Add two long, curved lines for the stem.
7 Color your drawing.
