The snowman is a simple yet cute design. Once you've got the hang of how to draw one (and it really won't take you long to learn), you'll be able to improve on this design by making it more three dimensional, more colorful or simply more innovative. This design is excellent for adding to cards, craft projects and painting onto winter scenes.

1 Start with the guidelines by drawing a big ball near the bottom of the paper
2Draw a medium sized ball overlapping the top of the big ball Advertisement
3 Draw another ball on top of those that is slightly smaller than the rest. You can use more than three balls, just make sure the one you put on top of the others needs to be slightly smaller than the one before.
4 Sketch in the carrot nose and circles for the face and buttons.
5 Sketch a scarf below the smallest ball. Draw a hat that looks like a top hat for your snowman’s head.
6 Sketch 2 branches for his arms. Finally, sketch extra snow under the biggest ball and add a snow floor.
7 Finalize the outlines and erase the guidelines.
8 Color your drawing to add life to the snowman.

Question How can I draw this neatly? Community Answer It is not hard, but if you're finding it hard, you'll need to do plenty of practice to perfect it. Do a rough drawing first, with all the lines crossing over and erasing. Then, do a neat copy. Draw the shapes, but not overlapping them. Keep trying until you can do a marvelous job. Thanks! Question How do I color the snowman and what colors should I use? Craftsmart Top Answerer One color that can be used is light blue around the edges of the circles, to simulate the snow. Other colors are black and red for the hat, brown or black for the eyes, mouth, and buttons, brown for the arms and orange for the nose. Thanks!
