There are all sorts of spoons. There's the bouillon spoon, the demitasse spoon, the saucier spoon, the egg spoon, and the good ol' tablespoon. Each one is different, yet each one can be defined by the same basic characteristics. Below are two methods to draw a simple, every day spoon.

  1. Step 1 Draw the spoon's handle. 1 Draw the spoon's handle. To make the handle, draw a stretched drop shape and bend it a little in the end.

  • Question I did the steps, but I had trouble drawing this. Why is that? Also, do you have any tips for me on drawing this kind of simple stuff? Community Answer Community Answer You're never going to get it on the first try. Art takes practice. It might take five or even twenty times drawing this spoon to get it perfect. And remember, you are always your worst critic. For drawing simple stuff like this, I recommend setting yourself a timer for two to five minutes and drawing until the time runs out.
