Step by Step Guide

A windmill is easy to draw, but I know that many of you struggle with such architectural drawings. And I can very well understand why. Some of you probably did not see a windmill in person to know its exact structure. Others might have seen it in person but do not know where to start drawing it from. Either way, I am here to help. So lend me a bit of your time, and focus on what I have to say if you want to learn how to easily draw a windmill in just a few minutes.

Draw the building first. Add the doors and windows. Finally, attach the blades and color the drawing. Your windmill is ready.

Start from the top

Draw a triangle for the roof.

Now the main structure

It is somewhat cylindrical in shape.

Add the base

The base is circular.

Add doors and windows

They are drawn small.

Put a wheel on the roof

This is where the blades will fit.

Add the blades

First draw the lines.

Attach the blades

Draw the blades fixed on the lines.

You are almost done

Just a few more steps to go.

Final touches

Get a dark pencil for that.

Now we color

Your drawing is ready. Now you just have to color.
