Trying to draw an egg but you just can't get it right? Then follow this tutorial to learn a trick how to get the egg shape right. It's really quite easy!

  1. Step 1 First gather all the necessary utensils: 1 First gather all the necessary utensils: paper, pencil, razor gum, pencil sharpener and watercolors. You might want to also use a ruler.
    • Start by drawing a vertical line delimited at each end by a small horizontal line (this will help you know where the top and the bottom of the egg must be).
  2. Step 2 Over the vertical... 2 Over the vertical line draw three horizontal lines of different sizes delimited at each end by a small horizontal line (this will help you outline the shape of the egg).
    • These horizontal lines will help you create the perfect egg shape.

  3. Step 3 Now outline the egg shape over the “skeleton”. 3 Now outline the egg shape over the “skeleton”.
    • Follow the vertical top and bottom, and the horizontal left and right delimitation marks to create the shape of the egg.
  4. Step 4 Add in some color. 4 Add in some color.
    • Erase the “skeleton” from the egg interior and color with the watercolors.
    • Try to color following the shape of the egg.
    • Use light blue and light gray.
