• Drawing Paper
• Crayons or Colored Pencils
• Black Marker (optional)

In this lesson, we will start off with a new piece of paper and discover how to draw eggs in 9 illustrative steps. We will pay attention to the proportions of each part of the eggs.

Time Needed: 20 minutes

1. Outline The Rim Of The Skillet

   

   Outline the rim of the skillet by drawing a wide oval shape.

2. Next Draw The Body Of The Skillet

   

   Next, draw the body of the skillet by making a U-shaped line.

3. Now Draw The Inside Of The Skillet

   

   Now, draw the inside of the skillet by creating a curved line.

4. Attach The Handle

   

   Attach the handle of the skillet by drawing the line as shown.

5. Add The Hole On The Handle

   

   Add the hole on the skillet’s handle by drawing an oval with a curved line inside.

6. Outline The Egg White

   

   Outline the egg white by drawing a squiggly shape like in the illustration.

7. Draw The Yolk

   

   Draw an egg yolk by making an oval.

8. Draw Another Yolk

   

   Draw another yolk by creating one more oval.

9. Complete The Eggs Drawing

   

   Let’s finish the eggs drawing by adding some color! First, use a purple crayon to color the skillet. Use a darker shade of purple to color the inside of the skillet and the inner part of the hole on the handle. Next, use a light yellow crayon to shade the egg whites. Then, use an orange crayon to color the egg yolks.
