Parsley is a delicious herb that helps brighten up the color and flavor of a wide variety of dishes.

It is often used in Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix, Homemade Meatballs, Chicken Entrees, and Grilled Fish.

It can also add a pretty pop of color when used as a garnish for all sorts of main dishes.

Are you wondering how to dry parsley fast? Or maybe just wondering how in the world to preserve all of that fresh parsley from your Herb Garden?

It’s really SO easy!

All you’ll need is fresh parsley, a microwave, a plate, and some microwave-safe paper towels.

What You’ll Need to Dry Parsley

You likely already have all of these items laying around your home somewhere…

  • Fresh Parsley
  • Glass (microwaveable) Plate
  • Microwave-Safe Paper Towels

That’s it. So simple.

If you don’t have any of these items, you can easily pick them up next time you are out and about.

How to Dry Parsley Fast

You won’t believe how EASY it is to dry your own parsley leaves at home!

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. Place 1 paper towel flat on your plate.

2. Lay out Parsley bunches in a single layer on the paper towel, then add another paper towel on top.

3. Microwave for 30 seconds, then in 15 second increments until dry. If you have a larger bundle of parsley you are microwaving, you may need to add a little extra time.

4. After leaves are dry and crunchy, remove and discard stems.

5. Then using thumb and forefinger, crush dried parsley leaves by pinching and rubbing together between your fingers.

How To Store Dried Parsley

Transfer your dried parsley to a small spice jar, and you’re done!

Mini Mason Jars work great, or you could even use your old spice containers!
