This wikiHow teaches you how to set up a connection to a proxy server in your Firefox browser's settings. You cannot perform this process in the Firefox mobile app.
Steps

1 Open Firefox. Its app icon resembles a blue globe with an orange fox wrapped around it. -
2 Click ☰. This icon is in the top-right corner of the Firefox window. A drop-down menu will appear. Advertisement -
3 Click Options. You should see this option in the middle of the drop-down menu. Doing so opens the settings page. - On a Mac or Linux computer, click Preferences instead.

4 Click General. It's a tab on the left side of the Firefox window. - If this tab is blue, Firefox is already on the General tab.

5 Scroll down to the "Network Proxy" section. It's at the very bottom of the Firefox page. -
6 Click Settings…. This button is on the far-right side of the page. Doing so will open the Proxy Settings window. -
7 Check the "Manual proxy configuration" box. This option is near the top of the window. -
8 Enter your proxy information. You'll need to fill out the following fields: - HTTP Proxy - Your proxy server's IP address goes here.
- Port - The server's port number goes here.

9 Check the "Use this proxy server for all server protocols" box. It's directly below the "HTTP Proxy" field. -
10 Click OK. It's at the bottom of the window. Doing so will save your settings. Advertisement
