How To Evolve Combee And Get Vespiquen In Pokemon Legends

Ever since it was released, the Honeycomb-looking Pokémon has had a notoriously difficult way of evolving that has often confused and frustrated players, even carrying over to Pokémon Go's method of evolving Combee. Sadly, this method returns in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. You'll need to know exactly where to catch a Combee and how to evolve it to get a Vespiquen in the game.

Where To Find Combee

The first step to evolving your Combee is to actually catch one for yourself, thankfully, they shouldn't be too hard to find.

Combee can be found in a variety of different locations. You can find them all below:

• Obsidian Fieldlands - The Heartwood, Grueling Cove
• Crimson Mirelands - Cloudpool Ridge, Lake Valor, Cottonsedge Prairie, Droning Meadow
• Cobalt Coastlands - Aipom Hill

Among the above locations, Combee can also be found at Ramanas Island, but they do not spawn there naturally. Instead, to obtain a Combee at this location, be on the lookout for shaking trees. Once you find one, have your Pokémon headbutt it. Having your Pokémon headbutt a shaken tree will often cause berries to fall out of it, but there is also a chance of knocking down a Pokémon like Combee. Other Pokémon can also be found via this method, one of which being Cherubi and its evolution Cherrim.

How To Evolve Combee Into Vespiquen

So, as stated, finding one shouldn't be too difficult. However, there is one major caveat. To evolve a Combee into a Vespiquen, your Pokémon has to be a female. When hunting for a female Combee, look out for the ones that have the red triangle on the face of the lower honeycomb.

This is where it gets difficult since male Combee make up around 88% of all Combee you will encounter, meaning only around 12% are female. Therefore, this may take you a while. After capturing your female Combee, things get a lot easier, as all you need to do then to evolve it into a Vespiquen is help it to reach level 21.
