How To Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon In Pokemon Sword & Shield

You will need to have a wild Eevee to evolve it, the one from your Let’s go data won’t count. From there, you will need to raise your friendship with Eevee. There are a few ways to do this. You can camp and play with them and cook with them. You can fight with them in battle to raise it up. Do not let them faint though, that hurts your relationship.

There is an item you can give them called the Soothe Bell which makes them more friendly as well. The most important part, you need to level up Eevee at night. When your Eevee is friendly with you, and you level it up at night, it will change into Umbreon. Mine changed during the jump from level 22 to 23. You can see how friendly your Pokemon is towards you by talking to the kid in the house Hammerlocke to the right of the first Pokecenter. If he says you are pretty good friends, then Eevee will evolve next level.
