How To Evolve Lickitung Into Lickilicky In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

The long-tongued Lickitung is a Normal-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that evolves into Lickilicky once it learns a specific Move. The best two regions to find and catch Lickitung are the Crimson Mirelands and the Alabaster Icelands. In particular, Trainers can encounter wild Lickitung within the Shrouded Ruins and Scarlet Bog of the Crimson Mirelands or at Snowfall Hot Spring and Avalanche Slopes of the Alabaster Icelands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Lickitung is attracted to food items such as Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans. Additionally, Trainers have a chance of obtaining a Ball of Mud or a Caster Fern when catching Lickitung. As a Normal-type Pokémon, Lickitung takes more damage from Fighting-type Moves. Therefore, if players get into a battle with the Licking Pokémon, it is recommended that they use Infernape, Hisuian Decidueye, Lucario, Gallade, or Sneasler. Moreover, keep in mind that Lickitung is immune to damage from Ghost-types such as Dusknoir.

To evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players must have the Pokémon learn the Move "Rollout," which becomes available once Lickitung attains Level 34. If players caught their Lickilicky in the Alabaster Icelands, Lickilicky likely is already above Level 34 and capable of learning Rollout. On the other hand, if Lickilicky is from the Crimson Mirelands in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Trainers, probably must level the Licking Pokémon to 34. The fastest way to level Lickitung is by feeding it Exp. Candy or Rare Candy. Exp. Candy can be purchased from Bonn's shop in Jubilife Village or farmed from Alpha Chansey and Alpha Blissey.

Evolving Lickitung in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Once Lickitung reaches Level 34, players can evolve it into Lickilicky after switching one of its Moves to Rollout if it hasn't learned the ability already. Like Lickitung, Lickilicky is also a Normal-type Licking Pokémon with Defense as its highest stat. Hence, players are advised to give Lickilicky a Relaxed Nature to fully utilize its best stat. The Relaxed Nature will increase the Defense Growth of Lickilicky while lowering the development of its Speed.

The Best Moves for Lickilicky's Moveset in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are Giga Impact, Double-Edge, Zen Headbutt, and Bulldoze. Giga Impact becomes available once Lickilicky attains Level 43. As a Normal-type, Lickilicky shares the same weaknesses as its base form, Lickitung. As a result, players should refrain from using Lickilicky in battles with Fighting-type Pokémon like the five noted above. On the other hand, Lickilicky is an excellent matchup against any Ghost-type Pokémon, such as Giratina, Hisuian Typhlosion, Basculegion, or the Dusknoir, as mentioned earlier.
