Tanning your back can be a tricky business. That’s why we’re sharing our top tips on how to fake tan your back so you can achieve an even-looking tan from head to toe!

How to fake tan your back

Tip 1: Mist it!

The easiest, quickest and best way to fake tan your back is with our NEW Self Tan Purity Vitamins Body Mist.

Simply spritz the elongated mist over your shoulders to tan those hard-to-reach areas. Bow your head slightly, and spritz the mist from side-to-side, holding the bottle just above your head. The ultra-lightweight Mist bottle has an elongated spray neck so you’ll be able to reach even the trickiest of spots. Tip 3: Raid the kitchen

Alternatively, you can assemble your own back applicator by raiding your kitchen …

All you need is a wooden spoon or a spatula, and then you can pop the applicator mitt over the head and secure in place with a hair bobble. This will give you those crucial few extra centimetres of reaching power and make fake tanning your back a whole lot easier.

Tip 4: Trust someone to have your back

If you don’t have a wooden spoon to hand, we’d recommend asking someone for a helping hand on tanning your back. Mum, friend or even sweet-talking your partner into helping apply your fake tan is definitely a worthy investment. Just let them know their Thursday evenings are now committed to #TanningThursday …
