Vaping can be a fun, stress-relieving way to smoke without bringing so many toxic chemicals into your body. However, there are many components to vaporizers, which may make your first filling experience confusing. Whether your vaporizer is top-fill or bottom-fill, you’ll need to take your vaporizer apart. Put a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the coil, fill up your tank, and then you’re ready to vape.

1 Disassemble the vaporizer’s tank. Unscrew the airflow base located at the bottom of the vaporizer. Then, pull the coil out from inside. Leave the tank, top connector, and mouthpiece attached for now.[1]XResearch source
If you’re changing flavors, clean out your tank before you refill it.
2 Put 1 drop of e-liquid onto each cotton hole in the coil. The bottle that your e-liquid is in should contain a dropper. Unscrew the top and fill the dropper with your e-liquid. Then, hold the coil horizontally between your thumb and pointer finger. Put 1 drop of e-liquid onto each cotton hole located on the coil.[2]XResearch source
There will most likely be about 6 holes for you to put drops into.

3 Fill the tank to the indicated line with e-liquid. Unscrew the top connecter from the tank to reveal the access points for the e-liquid. Then, hold the dropper part of your e-liquid bottle up against the inside of the tank. Squirt in e-liquid until it reaches the horizontal hash mark on the side of the tank, which indicates fullness.[4]XResearch source
Be careful to not get liquid into the center tube of the tank, as this is the airway. Accidentally dropping liquid here may cause you to inhale the e-liquid in its liquid form.
4 Reassemble your vaporizer. Once you’ve filled your tank, screw the top connector and mouthpiece back on. Then, put the coil back in and screw the base back on to fully reassemble your vaporizer.[5]XResearch source
5 Wait 2-3 minutes before you use the vaporizer. After you’ve put all of the pieces back together, give the coil 2-3 minutes to saturate. Then, you’re ready to vape.[6]XResearch source

1 Remove the coil from the bottom. Unscrew the bottom metal piece of the vaporizer and set it aside. Then, slide the coil out from inside of the tank.[7]XResearch source
Clean out your tank at this point if you’re switching e-liquid flavors.
2 Put a drop of e-liquid into the coil and attach the coil to the vaporizer. Once you have the coil out, use the dropper on your e-liquid bottle or top to put 1 or 2 drops of e-liquid inside the coil.[8]XResearch source
3 Fill the tank with e-liquid. Unscrew the entire metal bottom of the vaporizer to get access to the tank. Place the dropper portion of the e-liquid bottle against the inside of the tank. Fill the dropper and empty it into the tank several times until the e-liquid reaches the max fill line.[9]XResearch source
4 Put your vaporizer back together. After filling your tank, slide the coil back into place. Then, screw the bottom piece back on. Your vaporizer should now be completely reassembled.[10]XResearch source
5 Wait 2-3 minutes before you start vaping. The coil needs a couple of minutes to become saturated before you use your vaporizer. Wait 2-3 minutes and then go ahead and start vaping.[11]XResearch source

If you need to fill your top-fill vape, start by unscrewing the airflow base at the bottom of the vaporizer and pulling out the coil. Next, prep the coil by dropping 1 drop of e-liquid onto each cotton hole located on the coil. Then, unscrew the top connector from the tank and use the dropper to fill the tank up to the indicated line with e-liquid.
