No water, just an endless pit.I think: well water must be on a lower place, then I think about the endless pit and I shiver. After the second time I ran to a cliff I decided that's enough and I would have asked here.where is water? how do I find it? please don't tell me there is a secret lake or something < > Showing 1-15 of 19 comments Mansen View Profile View Posts 10 Jun, 2020 @ 2:02pm There's plenty of water. It just needs to be deep enough for a pump to sit in (which excludes most smaller streams)I recommend climbing up from where your base is using towers and such and looking around. It is much easier to build near the water than moving the water to you. #1 Snip View Profile View Posts 10 Jun, 2020 @ 2:03pm Only way to find water is explore the map, there is no water detector #2 Paul View Profile View Posts 10 Jun, 2020 @ 2:04pm There is plenty of water in the game in form of lakes and seas. Later on you will unlock the ingame map, with it you can spot water more easily.I can also recommend this website: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ where you can upload your safefile and view your progress on the interactive map. #3 ste View Profile View Posts 10 Jun, 2020 @ 2:06pm If youre on the grassy land, head south from the water fall there a little lake of water #4 Kamina View Profile View Posts 10 Jun, 2020 @ 2:59pm You may go to https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/interactive-map and load your save there. Then just pickclosest water on a map. #5 Vividnightmare View Profile View Posts 16 Jan, 2021 @ 12:36pm I'm also lost on water. I've spent over an hour looking and have only found a single pond that is virtually inaccessible. The lack of a map really makes this a pain, I'm at the point where to ramp up production any further I need more efficient power systems because I'm spending a ton of time just trying to keep up with my biomass burners, but water is in not trackable. Seems really absent minded to make a required resource rare and unfindable. #6 Mansen View Profile View Posts 16 Jan, 2021 @ 12:38pm 1. Please don't necro TWO-HUNDRED YEAR OLD threads.2. There's water everywhere - You can't walk for long without falling into a lake or a river. Literally just look up one of the (interactive) maps and head out based on your spawn location to find some. In the grasslands there is literally a waterfall you can see quite easily. Follow it up to it's source maybe? You can build ramps with concrete or walkways if you unlocked the ficsit shop. Even if you don't bother with the waterfall there are various ponds spread around that can fit at least a single water pump. #8 Tman View Profile View Posts 16 Jan, 2021 @ 1:18pm

Have you considered using eyes? Or the map? If you can't find water, you're going to have a very hard time on this game.Who necros a 4 year old thread just to whine about this? #13 ShelLuser View Profile View Posts 19 Sep, 2024 @ 12:29am

Actually... you can't ping everything. For example you can't ping mercer spheres, harddrives, berries, hostiles, etc., etc. What you can ping are mineable resource nodes.Water isn't a resource node in that definition, ergo... you can't ping it. For obvious reasons: for starters it gives more value to unlocking the map. Which is something you should try looking at; you can open it with the "m" key. #14 Arron_uk View Profile View Posts 19 Sep, 2024 @ 1:07am u can locate mercer spheres and sommerloops and hostiles etc with the hand scanner so yes they can be pinged as such. as for water its everywhere tbh u really need to explore a bit. you are clearly new did u start in the starting areas or go to the advanced areas? one part is a desert so yeh it lacks water... lol #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 19 comments Per page: 1530 50 Satisfactory > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 10 Jun, 2020 @ 1:56pmPosts: 19 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
