There are few things more annoying than losing your remote control right in the moment that you want to sit in the couch and spent some quality time with your favorite series. This is annoying if you are not a parent, because then it becomes quite worse. Your kids can put the remote control in the most improbable places of the house and then look at you with a beautiful “it wasn´t me” smile you just can´t fight. Roku knows about this and has designed an amazing method to avoid this from happening to you. Just follow these simple steps and forget about those odious moments.

• ■ The following instructions work for two models: The Roku 4 and Roku Ultra. On all the rest of them, the never-ending quest of not losing your remote still goes on

Method 1 Press the Remote-Shaped Button on your Roku 4 or Roku Ultra Once the button is pressed on the Roku Device you will hear the remote beeping and the only thing you need to do is follow the sound and find your remote. Method 2 Changing the Sound in your Remote Step 1 Go to the ‘Main Menu’ in your Roku Device. Step 2 Go to ‘Settings’. Step 3 Scroll down to remote and press the ‘Select’ button from the remote. Step 4 Select the ‘Change Remote Finder Sound’. Step 5 Preview the sound by selecting ‘Preview Remote Finder Sound’.

• ■ If you can´t hear the beep, remember that the reach of the remote is of 10 feet and if it is not within reach it will not beep when you press the button.
