I'm sorry, that isn't how memory works. If you got spoiled, that's it, and it'll always be in the back of your mind somewhere if you don't clearly remember it.

put that spoiler-ed anime to the on hold section for about 3 months or so, I'm kinda super forgetful so this strat works the best for me

Bury it with more information until you forget it exists. If you get a spoiler for 1 show dodge that show and watch 20 other shows.

If im actively watching the show and i get spoiled I just have a black out drinking night, if its one i planned on watching it just goes to the bottom of the plan to watch list. I wont remember it by the time I get to it.

just read the manga or whatever until you reach the spoiled part and get it over with... you will feel much better. Otherwise you'll just keep thinking about that spoiler forever...

There's not really much you can do. If you try to forget it you'll just remember it more. Try to embrace the spoiler instead and see it as something to look forward to, and enjoy the events that lead up to it.

forget a spoiler? impossible, in all seriousness though at least for me I just try to watch other shows in the mean time and hope I forget it; usually it works but if it’s a big spoiler like the MC dies I have almost no luck forgetting it

You can't. I've tried as hard as I could, but I can never forget them. It's been almost 3 years since someone spoiled a small bit of Code Geass' ending to me, and I haven't forgotten it since, and during that time frame I've seen a ton of other shows.

You need a big hammer You do not have to try forgetting that, That does not work the way you want. just ignore its reappearance again and again for a few days, then it will fade out in oblivion without you noticing it.
