Of course the Legendary Pokemon Arceus is featured in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but it's still incredibly elusive and requires you to complete the final main mission called The Deified Pokemon. Here is how to get Arceus in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which is quite an arduous task.

How to Catch Arceus

Only the truly diligent Pokemon Trainers will unlock the ability to meet the Legendary Pokemon Arceus.

  1. Complete all of the Main Missions, through #26, Seeking the Remaining Plates. This will begin request #27 The Deified Pokemon.
  2. Catch every Pokemon. You don't need Shaymin, Phione, Manaphy, or Darkrai, and you also don't need to increase their Pokedex Reseach Level to 10. Just catching is enough! See where to find every Pokemon using our Pokedex 10Arceus Final Mission Ending.jpg
  3. Talk to Professor Laventon to turn in your final research, and be able to complete #27 The Deified Pokemon.
  4. Head to the Temple of Sinnoh at the top of Mt. Coronet in the Coronet Highlands 12Arceus Final Mission Ending.jpg
  5. Now, defeat Arceus in battle - a boss battle with balms, similar to the fights with previous Noble Pokemon. You can see tips on how to beat Arceus in the final battle in the slideshow below.

When you defeat it, Arceus will, essentially, give a piece of itself to you, allowing you to keep it in a Poke Ball and use it in battle.

If that all sounds tedious and time-consuming, don't worry, you can still watch the ending in the video above - the True Ending of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and see a full page on how the story ends on the True Ending explained page. The Deified Pokemon
