Destiny 2’s season 14, Season of the Splicer brings 25+ weapons, both old and new. These weapons can be obtained from various activities such as Nightfall Strikes, Raids, Gambit, Crucible, and Seasonal Events.

One such weapon is the Chroma Rush, a Kinetic Auto Rifle that boasts a rapid-fire 720 RPM frame, making it a suitable replacement for the Steelfeather Repeater that was introduced in Season of Dawn, this Auto Rifle is efficient in both PvE and PvP modes.

How to get Chroma Rush?

  • Complete Beneath the Great Machine quest
  • Make sure you have at least 25 Decrypted Data, which can be obtained through the Season Pass (Rank 2,12 and 32) and Seasonal Challenges.
  • Finish any regular activity (Strikes, Crucible, Gambit) to earn Umbral Engrams.
  • Head to H.E.L.M, which is now located just above Tower in the destinations tab.
  • Focus your Umbral Engram by going to the Splicer Armory option and focus it on Splicer Armory engram. The weapon can also be obtained from Splicer Captain’s Armory and Splicer Gear engrams as well.
  • Once you obtain either the Splicer Armory or Splicer Gear engrams, decrypt them to obtain Chroma Rush, don’t worry if it doesn’t drop on the first time, simply keep trying till it does.
  • Alternatively, completing the Safe Harbor seasonal challenge next week will grant you Chroma Rush, Decrypted Data, and 2x Extra Large XP.

  • Aim Assistance: 80

  • Zoom: 16
  • Recoil: 45 
  • Bounce Intensity: 55
  • Bounce Direction: Tends Vertical

Some of the most common perks are Rampage, Accurized Rounds, and Heating Up, the weapon cannot be acquired from collections due to its randomized perks so you’ll have to decrypt focused engrams to get the perks of your choice.
