Gible is a rare Dragon- and Ground-Type Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that evolves into Garchomp, and can only be found in the secret entrance of Wayward Cave. Read on to learn exactly where to find and how to catch Gible in Pokemon BDSP.

Watch the video below to see exactly where to go to get Gible, and the elusive Earthquake TM in the same cave!

First, you need to get HM Strength from the Lost Tower and unlock the ability to use it outside of battle by defeating Canalave Gym. See How to Get Strength for more information.

Only then can you go to the secret entrance of Wayward Cave off of Route 206 and move the boulders blocking the internal entrance - watch the video above or go to the Wayward Cave page to see exactly how to find it.

Luckily, Gible isn't too hard to find once inside Wayward Cave through the secret entrance. It has around a 15% chance to show up, so you should find it in no time! Just run around the room with the bike ramps - it's the only room in Wayward Cave that spawns Gible.

Alternative: Grand Underground

You can also find Gible in the Grand Underground, however, it won't spawn until you've completed the Snowpoint City Gym. Then, you can find it in Fountain Spring Cave or Riverbank Cave (and possibly others.)

A Quick Ball may capture Gible immediately. If thrown on the first turn, it has a 4x catch rate! A Dusk Ball is 3.5x better than a normal Poke Ball when used inside a cave like this or at night - better than an Ultra Ball!

About Gible

Gible used to live in the tropics but now dwells in caves warmed by geothermal heat. It hides in holes on the cave walls, waiting for a chance to pounce on unsuspecting prey.
