Maple Syrup can be produced or it can be obtained from processing Hardwood in a wood chipper. It’s also needed to complete the quest chain at the community center. The Maple Syrup is needed to craft items like the Bee House so you can produce Honey.

How to Make Maple Syrup

To make Maple Syrup in Stardew Valley, you will need to construct a Tapper and attach it to a Maple tree. The Tapper will allow you to extract the sap (syrup) from the Maple tree.

To craft a Tapper, you will need 40 wood and 2 Copper Bars. The Copper Bars can be made by smelting Copper Ore in the Furnace. Each Copper Bar will need 5 Copper Ore to produce.

Each Maple Syrup will bring in 200g when sold. They can be a good source of revenue and will require no upkeeping. You can attach the Tappers to existing Maple trees or plant new ones in your desired location to start a Maple Syrup tree farm.
