Seal-It is a product that seals and protects outdoor materials such as wood, concrete and metal. It's used to protect decks and outdoor patios or to keep steps and other structural embellishments secured to the house. If you've been using Seal-It for a home renovation project and can't get the substance off your hands, there are a number of steps you can follow to get your skin free of the sticky mess.

Soak your hands in warm water for about five minutes. This helps soften the skin and loosen the Seal-It.

Dry hands on a towel, then rub a drop of hand lotion over the area with the Seal-It on it. Gently wipe off the lotion to remove the softened Seal-It.

Wash hands with soap and water every 15 minutes for an hour. This will gradually break down any remaining Seal-It.

Apply nail polish remover to a cotton ball and rub it over the Seal-It. Continue rubbing until the Seal-It is removed.

Wash hands again with soap and water to remove nail polish remover from skin.
