How to Get Shaymin
Shaymin Request Unlock

 Play and have a save file of Pokemon Sword and Shield. Finish the main storyline of Pokemon Legends: Arceus until the credits roll. Head back to Jubilife Village and inspect Laventon's blackboard at the Galaxy Team HQ. Accept Request 92: A Token of Gratitude. |
How to Catch Shaymin

| 1 |  Head to Fieldlands Camp at Obsidian Fieldlands and talk to Medi. She will give you a Gracidea flower and say that it is the clue to finding the field of flowers she was looking for. |
| 2 |  The field of flowers Medi was referring to is Floaro Gardens, found above Lake Verity. Using Hisuian Braviary, fly to Floaro Gardens and head towards the withered flowerbed. |
| 3 |  Watch the cutscene and meet Shaymin! |
| 4 |  Shaymin is small and hard to find within the bed of flowers. Instead, wait for Shaymin to leave the flowerbed so you can easily spot the mythical Pokemon and catch it! |
Not Required to Catch in Order to Face Arceus
Since Shaymin is a Gift Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the Mythical Pokemon is not required to be caught in order to face Arceus.

How to Change Shaymin Forme
How to Change Shaymin from Land Forme to Sky Forme
To change Shaymin from its Land Forme to its Sky Forme, simply select the Gracidea from your Satchel's Key Items Pocket and use it on Shaymin during the day.
The Gracidea will have no effect if used at night. A short animation will play and Shaymin should transform into its Sky Forme.
How to Change Shaymin Sky Forme to Land Forme
Changing Shaymin back to its Land Forme is rather unintuitive and also appears to have some sort of visual bug in the game. Using the Gracidea on Sky Forme will not have any effect.
To revert back to its Land Forme, you will have to store Shaymin in the Pastures, then add it back to your party. Shaymin's icon will not change, but by checking the summary screen you'll be able to check if Shaymin has reverted or not.
