Getting Thundurus is attached to the Request called Incarnate Forces of Hisui in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Here is where to find Thundurus' Location and how to catch Thundurus in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Incarnate Forces of Hisui becomes available after finishing the story Mission titled Seeking the Remaining Plates. After completing the Mission and returning to Jubilife Village, head inside Galaxy Hall and you'll see a short cutscene involving Cogita, and this Request will be automatically added. Catching Tornadus will help you complete your Arceus Pokedex.

Thundurus Location

Thundurus is located in the Cobalt Coastlands ocean area north of Sand's Reach near the eastern region of the map. Thundurus can only be encountered during a thunderstorm, which happens randomly. (Note: the weather icon must be a cloud and lightning bolt, not just the rain icon, or Thundurus won't spawn). When you arrive in the Cobalt Coastlands, simply rest at your tent until a different time of day to force the weather to cycle. Eventually, you'll get a thunderstorm and you can seek out Thundurus.

How to Catch Thundurus

When Thundurus spots you, it will immediately become enraged and you'll need to calm it down before starting the battle. To do this, bring plenty of items that can stun it like a Mud Ball, Snowball, Spoiled Acorn, or Sticky Glob. When you get close to it, Thundurus will send out a series of tornados that can knock you down and injure your character. Since you're on the back of Basculegion during this encounter, you're unable to dodge roll and avoid its attacks. Instead, you'll need to try and jump out of the way or boost while throwing stunning items at it. You may want to defeat the various Gyarados swimming around as things can definitely get chaotic with all the attacks flying around.

If you're successful, you'll temporarily halt Thundurus' attacks and give you an opening for battle. Act quickly though, as this window is very short and Thundurus will become enraged again if you don't make a move. Throw a Pokemon at it to begin the fight. You'll be up against a Level 70 Thundurus.

Catch Thundurus and complete any remaining Pokedex Research Tasks required to reach Research Level 10. Be sure to focus on the tasks that award double points, such as using Wildbolt Storm or using an agile style move.

To change Thundurus to its Therian forme, you will need to finish Incarnate Forces of Hisui, which tasks you with learning about the other Forces of Nature.Continue to:
