Hi!I have a private dedicated server which I have had alot of bad ppl joining. I've tried alot of ways to kick/ban these but I haven't succeeded and now I need your help. How the hell do I do this? I have enabled chats and logged in with my admin password and I can do most of the commands with no problems but as fast as I try to kick someone it doesn't work. I'm using http://steamidfinder.com/ to get the 64-encoded string but it doesn't work. Anyone have a clue?Also, is there a better way to kick/ban than the steam64id? I want to prevent using steamids in chat cause we have streamers on the server. Is that possible? My server is hosted by a company so I don't have access to the physical machine, I only have a interface to work with and have no arkon in my mod manager. Are you prefixing it with 'cheat' as in cheat listplayersAllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt is the list of admins essentially and by adding your id to that, you are allowed to use the 'cheat' prefix. Admin or owner of an unofficial server can do anything they want on their server. After all they own the server/run it.If you get the "you've been kicked" its perm. There is no time ticker in place for temp bans. The owner can only unban manually if they choose to.But lets me honest here. if you're having friction with such an owner, do you really want or care to try to play there anymore? With 20,000+ privately owned servers in Ark Im sure you can find something else.
