There's no aging in Sims 1, so if you get bored of a household or want to get rid of a specific Sim, you can't just wait around for them to get old. But if you're not the most merciful of Sim controllers and don't mind taking matters into your own hands, you can force them to "disappear". This wikiHow will teach you how to kill your Sims in The Sims 1.
Steps
-
1 Starve your Sim. Starving your Sim doesn't require much extra effort on your part, although your Sim will complain quite a bit before they die. Delete the fridge and telephone from your Sim's house, or trap your Sim in a room with no fridge in it. Without any way to get food, they'll die when their Hunger is fully depleted. -
2 Drown your Sim. Make your Sim jump into the swimming pool using a diving board, and then remove the ladder. Sims can't exit the pool without a ladder, so once their energy depletes, they'll drown. Advertisement -
3 Fire things up. If you don't mind having ashes to clean up, you can simply set your Sim on fire. Delete all fire alarms from your house, set a fire, and then let your Sim be consumed by the flames. To start a fire, you can: - Have a Sim with no Cooking skill try to cook a meal.
- Put an object in front of a fireplace. Direct your Sim to light the fireplace, and the object should catch fire quickly.
- Place fireworks inside the house, if you have Livin' Large, and direct a Sim to set them off. (Fireworks also have a chance of hitting something outdoors and setting it on fire, but using them inside will guarantee a fire.)
- Use a Livin' Large genie wish to wish for either Fire or Leisure. If the wish fails, a fire will start.
- Put the Superstar oxygen bar in the same room as a fireplace. Once the fireplace is lit, the oxygen bar will catch fire.
- Try the Enchant spell if you have Makin' Magic. A failed Enchant spell will set the object on fire.
- Ignore a Makin' Magic dragon. When dragons are neglected, they're likely to set objects on fire, particularly if you have a red dragon.
-
4 Deliver a shock to your Sim. If a TV breaks on your lot, you can direct a Sim with low Mechanical skill to fix it. When they try to fix it, they'll be electrocuted and fall to the floor, dead. - Sims with higher Mechanical skill are not as likely to die from electrocution, unless they stand in a puddle while they work.
- Attempting to have a Sim with no Mechanical skill fix a flatscreen TV will always kill them.
-
5 Have your Sim succumb to Guinea Pig Disease. Livin' Large introduced Guinea Pig Disease, which is transmitted from a neglected guinea pig. Buy your Sim a guinea pig cage, and then have them not clean the cage for awhile. The next time they try to play with the guinea pig, they'll be bitten and contract the disease. If you don't take care of your Sim for awhile, they'll eventually die. - Guinea Pig Disease is contagious, so if you're just trying to kill off one particular Sim, you'll need to isolate them from the rest of the household.
- Make sure you don't have any Forgotten Guinea Pig paintings in the house. This will cure Guinea Pig Disease.
-
6 Use the Skydiving Simulator. If you have Superstar, you can buy a Skydiving Simulator. Direct your Sim to get in with Sky Dive, and then block off the exit with an object at least two tiles long. Once your Sim's energy is depleted, they'll be blown out of the Skydiving Simulator and meet their demise. -
7 Have a toadified Sim eaten alive. Makin' Magic introduces spells and dragons, among other things. If you have a dragon (or a cat, if you have Unleashed) on your lot, toads can lose their lives to them. - Buy a Dragon Egg from Vicki Vampiress in Magic Town. They take between a day and a half to two days in-game to hatch. (If you have Unleashed, you can have your Sim adopt a cat, as an alternative.)
- Gather butter, toadstools, and toad sweat. These are given to you by the Mystery Man, but can also be purchased from various vendors in Magic Town.
- Click on Spellbound Wand Charger and click Add.... Add Butter once, Toadstools once, and Toad Sweat once. Then, click on the Wand Charger and click Charge Wand.
- Perform the Toadification spell. Click on another Sim, choose Cast..., and choose Toadification. The spell will either turn the other Sim into a toad, or will turn your Sim into a toad (if the spell backfires).
- Wait for the dragon (or cat) to eat the toad. While you can't direct your pet to eat a toadified Sim, they'll eventually do so of their own accord. Having the toad sit around near where your pet is will help.
-
8 Have the baby taken by the social worker. While it's not exactly killing, if you don't want to deal with your Sim's baby anymore, you can simply opt to ignore them and not take care of their needs. After a certain amount of time, the social worker will arrive and take the suffering baby away. - Children will not be taken by the social worker. She only removes babies from the household.
-
9 Send child Sims away to military school. For a less lethal option for children, simply have your Sim miss school for several days, and don't direct them to study using the bookcase. Once your Sim's grades drop far enough, they'll be sent to military school, and you'll never see them again. Advertisement

Tips
- If you want to kill your Sim with fire, but don't want to burn down their house, build a small room separate from the rest of the house. Place a fire-starting object in that room, direct the Sim(s) that you want to kill into that room, and delete the door. Thanks Helpful 0 Not Helpful 0
- If you have Livin' Large, Sims can plead with the Grim Reaper to bring a dead Sim back, but this doesn't always work. Thanks Helpful 0 Not Helpful 0
Warnings
- If you have Unleashed, be aware that pets can die of starvation and from fires. While it's harder to starve a pet, be careful if you plan on setting fires and want to keep the pet alive. Thanks Helpful 0 Not Helpful 0
