4 Gold Ingots
1 Redstone Dust How to craft a Clock in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:

2. Add Items to make a Clock
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a clock, place 4 gold ingots and 1 redstone dust in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a clock, it is important that the gold ingots and redstone dust are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the middle box. In the second row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the first box, 1 redstone dust in the second box, and 1 gold ingot in the third box. In the third row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the middle box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a clock.

Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the clock will appear in the box to the right.

3. Move the Clock to Inventory
Once you have crafted clocks, you need to move the new item to your inventory.

Congratulations, you have made a clock in Minecraft!
