Make a Square/Box Lanyard
Tiffany Dahl 5970 STEPSTOOLSGrab two colors of craft lace or plastic lace. The length doesn't matter. The longer the lace the longer your lanyard will be.

Fold your colors in half and put one on top of the other.

With your bottom color make two loops over the top one. In this case it's silver over pink.

Take one pink lace and go over the first silver loop and under the second. Take the other pink lace and do the same thing. Over the first loop and under the second loop.

Pull the ends of the lace tight. And here is your first row and the start of your lanyard. Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Don't give up if it doesn't work the first time.

Grab one pink lace and make a loop. You will see that it is going to go right across the pink from the first row.

Make a loop with the last pink lace.

Take one silver lace and go over the first pink loop and under the second.

Take the last silver lace and repeat step eight. Go over the first pink loop and under the second one.

Pull the ends of the lace tight. We have now completed two rows. Let's keep going :)
Continue steps 6 to 10 until you you have your lanyard at the length that you would like.

Here it is at 5 rows

Ten rows

22 rows

At 36 rows I think my lanyard key chain is done

I put a bead at the end of mine and tied all the lace together. I also put a hook at the top of my lanyard so I could attach it to my key ring.
Once you are finished with your lanyard put a little bit of crazy glue on the top of the last row. I do not recommend using a lighter to burn of the ends. You will also need to trim off the access.
I hope you have enjoyed this guide. Look for more fun styles of lanyards to come in the future :D
